Default Rust on Clutch???

there seems to be some rust on a clutch that i have laying around the garage. theres rust on the spring and the pressure plate. my question is, if i use some brake cleaner and clean the rust off can it still be re-usable?? what other options beside getting a new clutch do i have? thanks
