smoking swap, opinions
Okay, so I have a 91 Honda Civic DX hatchback, and I'm running OBD0 chipped PM6, CRX Si dizzy and injectors w/ resistor box, the engine, OBD1 JDM d15b vtec. This has been a swap that took a while (mainly due to my lack of time from week to week). So, I started it up last night and it was purring nicely, took it out for a spin, nice, okay, smoke... so apparently the guy helping me with this swap put a little too much oil in there (because as I checked it was more than full mark on the dipstick). So I drained the oil and put in the proper amount and went for another spin, a lot less smoke, but still a little and more when I get on it. My thoughts are, just working out the kinks of the half a mile romp with too much oil and the fact that the half a tank of 93 octane has been sitting there doing nothing for three months, I didn't end up driving it more than a mile after the oil change last night just because it was late and I had to get home.
Opinions (and yes I know it could be bad rings, but I am hoping that it isn't)?
