I felt it was time to get a new exhaust because my other had a hole from one of the welds on the resonator. So I got a Magnaflow catback from Performancepeddler for $263 shipped (good ppl to deal with). Its very quiet....sometimes I wish it were loudler but overall IM very pleased with it. Even with the damn d16 I thought it was more easy to take off from a dead stop after I put the exhaust on. A warning to those who may upgrade in the future: where the manifold meets the exhaust piping it has a screw and bolt and this damn spring thing which is a bitch to get back on, I just went and bought longer bolts and it was cake after that, I suggest everyone else do the same ( dident see anything wrong with doing that).

 

Im new and i know not to do that.

Next time if you are going to post pictures, give us a little more technical information other than two bolts were tough to take off.

Anyone know piping diameter of this exhaust? Looks to me like its 2.25", but I am not positive.

 

yeah I screwed up and as soon as I realized it I had it moved.....its not the end of the world. Yes it is 2.25

 

I wanna hear what it sounds like.

 

Magnaflow catbacks appear to be pretty nice, especially for the $$

 

looks almost like the thermal.

 

I thought they looked the same too. I would love to put up sounds but I dont have a cam or any creative ideas how to do it. If you search there is a guy with an Si that has a couple vids of how they sound.
