July 10/11 at Willow Springs HPDE events
Who is going? I thought I'd ask. I registered for HPDE 3, but may move to HPDE 2 if it gets too crazy, don't want any body damage, yet.
Depending on the status of the car, I will most likely be there in HPDE4. I'll be testing and tuning my white 95 CivEX. See ya there!
On the NASA events, HPDE 1 and 2 are both beginners. I think they call them novices and beginers (or something like that). So, you may be better off in HPDE3 since most ppl there have a good idea of what they're doing. In any case, if any of the groups get too crazy, they (race control) put a lid on it right away.
Great, I'll see you there. I hope your car is ready.
Any advice what to bring, coming from Vegas I know plenty of Gatorade and canopy. Anything else?

Definitely tie downs for your canopy. It can get pretty breezy in the afternoons and I've seen several canopies go over, sometimes with minor damage to your pit-mates car. Something to sit on, and a great attitude (sounds like you've got one already). If you have a chance, and a decent download rate, check out Edik's race video from the last WS event. Definitely a plus for learning the turns and lines from an excellent driver. Search here, to see if he's still got it up, if not, I've downloaded it and can email it to you. What car are you running? If I make it, I'll look for you.
Like Vitt said, if you've got some experience in you already (at least 5 or more events under your belt), Group 3 is probably where you'll want to start. I'd worry more about body damage with the lower level groups that aren't quite as experienced. I was in Phoenix several months ago, in group 2 (combined with G1) and it was like a parking lot out there, with no room to really work on anything. Fortunately, I was able to move up to 3 that weekend, and learn the track better.

Thanx man, I'll keep that in mind, here in Vegas gets very windy as well.
I couldn't find that video, do you mind send it to me?
I will drive my little bue Accord, stock engine, some mods inside and suspension.
