Default Single turbo

i was curious bout single vtec turbo kits... is it possible to put that turbo kit on like a d16 none vtec motor...?

i dont know much about turbo but im prety sure it will work w/ all d series.

whether the engine is vtec or not has nothing to do with whether the kit works on your car...

however if you are buying pre-made kits like greddy, revhard, apexi, etc. they may list their kits for certain cars that have "vtec" in which these are newer cars and the intercooler/charge piping will be different then yours.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk. I think its great that people just getting into the car sceen are using honda-tech.

with that said, i think its scary that people with little to no knowledge of turbo's are thinking about "slapping on a turbo".

try this site:

and read up on turbos. then, read up on everything that can go wrong with turbo chargers.

agreed though..forced induction is something you really need to understand before you start blowing apart engines and stuff.

of course you can just go with a simple "pre-made" kit that's close to fail safe and any idiot can slap it on.

i'm not gettin into the cars, i've been in to it for years now, i was just curious about it and if it really mattered... but thank you to every one that has helped me with this question...
