quick question, I swapped to GSR seats and they are still not low enough, have to kinda tilt my head into the sunroof with a helment on. do the Vision "super low seat rails" lower the frame enough? I'm 6'5" and am trying to get as low in the car as possible, and I noticed the carry a heavy price tag. I'm willing to pay, just wanna make sure it is worth the bank.

you should try locating some Vision seat rails and brackets... They come in 1" and 1.5" lower than normal brackets/rails... I sat in a teg with the 1.5", and wow, they were perfect! and im only 5'11"! I just have a problem with my knees hitting the wheel during a shift.

I sometimes get a little black mark on my left pant leg from the wheel hitting it, LOL

maybe i'm wrong, but i thought vision sliders were meant only for recaro sr-style seats.

gsr seats... is that the one with the option of adjusting for fore/aft rake (ie. adjustment ***** on the side)? if so, try an ls or rs seat and see if it's lower, because i believe it's that mechanism that adds height to the gsr seat... again, not 100% sure.

 

mine are out of a 94' model, don't have the adjustments on the side.

so the Vision rails work only on JDM recaros?

 

all i know is that my vision sliders don't work on my stock seats...

I would recommend DEL SOL seats for anyone who is over 6 feet tall....they definitely sit lower....i have them in my integra and i love it...i got a friend who is 6ft 2 and he has much more head room when he drives my car.

 

one of my friends has them in his SI and they are no lower than my GSR seats.

does anyone have any ideas on something that would lower my body in the car. JDM recaros and Vicion sliders aren't in my budget. what about Sparcos or some other seat companys, do they sit lower in the car?

 

Actually, my friend borrowed my del Sol seats, put them in his 97 Civic coupe and it dropped the seat height about 1.5" It definitely sits lower than the 94 GSR leather seats he had in his car before.

I second the vote for Del Slo seats. Chad has them in his car, and I got a chance to look at them at Summit. They look cool and are much lower.

 

they're lite and also hug you pretty well, they have shoulder bolsters!!

 

Man, I'm only 5'3.5" and I can bearly use my sun visors without sit up to block the sun.

 

Are the Del Sol seats lower even if i have the GSR seats without the ***** on the side?? The height of my seat never bothered me until i read this post either, LOL
