Default SUSPENSION QUESTIONS FOR ANY ROAD RACE GUYS:

I have a 4g VTEC lude. lowered 1.8" on stiff apexi springs, tokico shocks that match the spring rate pretty well, and all the upper / lower / front / rear strut braces. I was wondering what kind of alignment I should have to give me a nice balanced, stable daily driver (won't chew tires up TOOOO fast) but still give me the ability to drive competively on a road course. Right now, I have 1.6 degrees of camber in the front AND the rear, and 0 toe in the front & back.

I was thinking it would make sense to keep the camber in the front, and dial it out in the back to close to 0... but I see a lot of guys with the opposite (camber in the rear, zeroed out in the front) advice?!

oh yeah btw i'm on 215/40/zr17's, and I plan to replace the rear sway bar. my goal is neutral handling, with easy lift-throttle oversteer at low speeds. I also will have LSD with this setup.

Nice! Set the rear shocks on full stiff and the fronts about 3/4 the way on stiff... Your camber is fine.. I have to use a camber kit to get mine to -1 in the back.. I have -2 in the front, works well with even tire wear.. Some people like to toe out the front about a 1/16th of an inch in the front, but 0 is ok too.. 0 toe in the rear!

Rear swaybar = huge difference You might wanna go back to your stock 15" wheels and put some track tires on them

in the future... its not quite setup the way I want it yet, but I will hopefully get some laps in a Texas World Speedway and Motorsport Ranch in the next few months.

would lower profile tires = less camber?

No, the tires don't effect camber.. Lower profile tires are only benifical if you run street tires, but bigger wheels are slower on the track, there is more rotational mass that hurts acceleration and braking.. If you ever get to the point of needing more performance, DOT race tires are the way to go.. 15" wheel and 225/45/15 or 225/50/15 tires..
