Default Wiring and Valve Cover

What company wires do you guys recommend for a 99 Civic EX?

I'm plannining on getting a blue AEM CAIS so I'm guessing get blue wiring. And how easy is it to re-wire an engine?

Is it worth getting a SOHC Valve Cover?

I am so lost it hurts my head to try to figure it out.

If you dont want a SOHC valve cover then dont put one on and make a mess all over the road. Do you even know what a VALVE cover is?

what is a AEM CAIS? Do you mean a CAI? and whats with rewiring an engine? Man my head hurts now.

Use stock wires. they perform better than any other... I'm guessing you mean igntion wires right?

Also changing your spark plug wires doesn't constitute "re-wiring" your engine...

It's easy... if you find it confusing at all (hard to considering all the wires are generally numbered and cut to length) do it one at a time...

Also make sure you note the firing order on the distributer cap... if you cross any wires it won't work when you're done.

Also NO valve cover is "worth" buying... unless you feel that you engine needs asthetic help... A valve cover has NO performance gains to be offered...

If it's for dress up then it's your call as to whether it's worth it or not... I don't get why 2 cams would make it more worthwhile to dress up though...

Good luck and put on your Nomex.

I'm also confused.
I'm not sure if he means spark plug wires or if he's talking about getting the dress up kits, like blue wire loom and hoses.
