so i retrofitted a DC2 cluster in my EK and i dropped by autozone and found some "amber" 194's. the bulbs themselves are orange-ish at the tip and the bodies are yellow. i put em in and they look sortah light orange/yellow. i just wanted to see what results u other guys got and what kind of bulbs u used. post up!

hey, i used red bulbs in my cluster, and found that it matched my itr climate control pretty well...the amber bulbs were a bit too light for me too. I'm working on getting some pics for you





edit*** added two pics for you. sorry the second pic is so blurry, but i took it to show you what the cluster looked like in comparison with the climate control

i've always liked the orange/blue combo that new vw's (and maybe other cars) have.

sorry, i mistyped what i had above...i meant to say the second pic is so you can see the cluster color with the hype R climate control..but both pics of the cluster are the same..sorry again

yep, the red ones are 194R and the blue ones I believe are 194B, bought both from autozone. Cost like 6 bucks for 4 bulbs and your cluster requires 3.

i think stock, it comes with clear bulbs and blue rubber caps to give it that white color. Its kinda hard to match unless you can find those rubber caps
