The two companies that I have heard the best things about are: Ohio Generators and Stinger Electronics.

If you want a honda alternator, they are one of the only companies that make them. They are probably the most common for upgraded stock units. Nice price. When I priced one last year it was 279 for the 150amp model. Their website is http://www.4alterstart.com.

yea man, tell me if that junx works good. I need a new alt. just like you. i bought this phat *** system without buying a highoutput alternator... Sucks cus i need one soon, my whole system has been sitting on my desk in my room for about two months 
my system that needs to be hooked up!

I bought the 135 amp alt form the same ebay dealer but for a crx.
Absolutely no dimming and you can just tell that it lets you run more accessories beautifully.
OEM alt lasted about 2 weeks with my 2 amps and the lights were dimming like crazy and such, flawless operation with this
