Default JDM FD, toda lightweight flyness - impressions

finished re-asembly last night... after our dumbass encounter with the left-handed bolts that hold the final drive gear to the differential (see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=86037 if you're curious).

anyway, i'm finding it very difficult to break in the new clutch 'nicly'.

the JDM FD is lovly. giddy up and go!!

Toda flywheel = perfect blipping of the throttle for rev mathing. me so happy. car seems to have a better idle now also.

Toda street clutch = yummy.

well there you have it folks, and absolutly technical review.

here's the summary in my mind - the ITR should have come from the factory like this, i really like this combo. now, i guess i'll just have to find someone with the ATS 4.93 to shatter my dreams.

btw - **** that damn snap ring.

D - who's now broke as ****.

D: Better yet, come to gainesville or TPA so I can drive it! lol

My ITR tranny/Toda FW/Exedy Clutch/ATS FD purchase just got moved into the future. Fuggin beater broke a crank pulley... am I inteliigent enough to just replace the pulley? Nope, not me! It seems like a perfect time for some JE pistons, new crank, new rods, bore out the block, etc. me == we todd when my 'real' car could have uber good gearing. bleh.

I warned you about that! Using the right tool makes short work of that blasted thing! But I guess I should have warned you about the left hand thread diff bolts.
