i know that automatic cars more consistent but how much of difference in horsepower and time would be on a automatic prelude...and stick...i have a 2000 prelude non Sh...and you know how greddy makes a turbo for my car it says 97-99 non-SH...will it fit my car...and they say greddy makes the best turbo for automatic preludes...is this tru...and do you know where i can find one with intercooler for less then 3200

 

People say that because the ss tranny cant reliabley hold 220+ whp, which is what you will be putting out at the most, ss tranny kills power, you may run a 14.3 with bolt ons and greddy turbo kit, people with manual h22 run close to that with full bolt ons and minor weight reduction. Not trying to hate, welcome to honda-tech,I had ss lude for 3 years, for 3200 you could get manual tranny, smsp header, intake, exhaust, vafc and be just as fast as an ss with greddy kit. And then you will be on a better reliability platform as well, but to each his own, do what youd like/ Stock for stock there is a 1 second difference atleast in 1/4 between ss lude and base or sh.

 

agreed totaly , i had a drag turbod ss lude and i went through 3 trannies so i just got rid of it, and i went down the exact route just stated, with my 98 sh, just waiting on the smsp header now

 

I think we all tried to make our ss lude faster, im not gonna lie though, I did rape several people in third gear on the interstate, but fourth anyone fast would creep back everytime.
