Catch Can install...?
it really depends...people install them different ways, here are the ways i have seen them done
1. from the valve cover opening to a can, and back to the intake
2. from the pcv valve to a can, then to the intake manifold
3. tap the block in two locations on the back or front and run one of the lines to a can, then back in through the other hole that is tapped
4. ok this way doesnt really involve a catch can, but i thought i would list it bc it does the same thing virtually....this is only used in race applications mostly, but i suppose it could work fine on a street car if done properly...what they do is tap the block as mentioned before and run a line to the exhaust so the escaping exhaust gases form a vacuum and suck out the gases built up in the motor
if i decide to do one, ill prob just do the catch can between the pcv valve and the intake manifold so the oily residue doesnt get back into the engine via the incoming air
if you were asking just "how" and not what different ways to do it then just find a place to bolt it in the engine bay and run the lines to whatever you want, kinda hard to mess it up really
