Got some new parts today.
This is what I got to replace my sleeved block that dropped #3. The axles are ENJO stage 7 700+whp

This one did not come in today but a week or so ago. I bent the lines myself. The one on the center left is being replaced when I get some more tube. That is an STR intake and TB. The NXL system is just in front of it in the display case.

Gotta get the block to the machine shop to get bored and then just assemble and install it. Recheck the tuning and put it on the track.

Guys it is a long story. They were Darton sleeves installed by Eagle Machine(not affiliated with Golden Eagle) in Atlanta. There were no problems at all with the sleeves until Eagle installed them off center, yes off center. We made 4 passes on the dyno at 5psi and the car was spitting coolant on the 1st one so I knew there was a problem, hoping just head gasket. Got the block back to Eagle and they said that the sleeves were all out-of-round warped. WTF? SO I sent the block directly to Darton for them to resleeve correctly and John called me to say they could not do it because it was done incorrectly the first time.

Parts look awesome. That shop screwed up My buddy Glenn's motor also. Well it used to be his motor, but he said they really screwed it up from what he had heard.

Damn dude...thats a bummer. It is hard to find a machine shop that can install sleeves correctly. I have heard plenty of these horror stories...sleeves sinking, installed off center...etc. Glad you got it fixed though. Cant wait to see some times.

To add insult to injury they charged me $250 to disassemble the block and deck it. Only to tell me the sleeves were all warped. I didnt know what to say.
ANyway I didnt want this to be a bashing thread and I am just glad to have some parts that should work.
