Default crx side mouldings

I have a 91 crx Si, bought it somewhat in peices. For some reason, the front fenders seem different. Is there a difference in moulding size between years on the crx? The ones on the fenders are bigger than on the rest of the car. i noticed the mouldings on my friends 88 crx Si are the same as the ones from my fenders. Also, the front fenders i have dont look like they ever has the bottom plastic peices on there. Could these be fenders from a different car?

88-91 fenders have a thicker moulding all around the car. You seem to have the 88-89 fenders on your car.

88 and 89 have thicker mouldings like he said then 90-91 my guess is car was missing mouldings at one time and he found a car that was an 88-89 and put them on. Do your corner lenses have two holes in them? they shouldn't should be a hidden scew near the headlight housing just curious? also does the front bumper have air dams on either side?

The corner lenses have one screw and two clide in clips. My bumper has the two air dams, so I know its a 90-91, I cut those out to install my FACTORY fog lamps . What about the bottom of the fenders missing the lower moulding?

are you talking about door molding or the molding that has to do with the side skirt? either go to a junkyard and get the molding off of any 90-91 crx or go to Honda and get a new one

Anyone know where to get some new cheap fenders, anything will work as long as they arent Z3s or something stupid like that.

The bottom of the fenders I have go all the way to the bottom of the car. Im pretty sure they are only supposed to go as far as the bottom moulding, which bolts to the fender to connect to the bottom. Anyone familiar with what fenders I may have. My corner lights do match up with them, they have the two slide clips and one hidden screw.
