yep sticker will be on the side. also it's under the passenger side seat in th 88-89 integras. note: only 88-89, 86-87 won't work. also made a write up so you can use the pm6 casing.

dont use a teg ecu for a SOHC zc.
first off do you have the vtec or non-vtec version?
If you have the non-vtec then a d16a6 ecu would work. A chipped d16 program would be better since the cam is slightly more aggressive.
or if its vtec then any d16z6 ecu or chip would be good

think before you put your thoughts into words. it sure doesnt feel good to be ignorant now is it? as they said, research before you act like you know.

im running a sohc zc with pg7, run much better than it did with the pm6, i just put 2 cars on a z6 delsol about 30 mins ago with no problem
There is such a thing as SOHC D16...i have a dual carb version, there is no rev limiter on mine and i have done 7800 for almost 3 years now with around 2-3 pulls a day no problem..keep the oil clean and change often :-)

Umm...maybe that'll explain the reason why my SOHC Motor has "ZC" stamped into it.
As far as ecu's it seems most people like sticking with the a6 ecu over the zc one....any particulars to the program in each that make them more/less suitable?

look for the real onenot the PG7, a PR5, or run a chipped PM6 with PR5 maps.
I have a spare PM6 that i can chip and put PR5 maps on it. i used it with my sohc and it made it alot better than the stock (PM6) a6 maps. it's also got a lot more agressive timing, which helps quite a bit.

i've been using the PG7 on my sohc zc and seemed to pull harder on acceleration and pretty good on the topend. note that this ecu tends to run on the rich side because it's for a DOHC. i put my stock PM6 ecu back cause of the damn gas prices but still runs good. it's all in preference really. PM6 is good cause the sohc ecu as they said pretty much like the a6 w/ little more agressive cam. PG7 will help you run lil stronger, just richer. PR5, well that's the real ecu for the sohc zc like they said, just a pretty rare ecu though. so you might want to take him up on his offer and use the PM6 w/ a PR5 program.

there are 2 zc motors a sohc and a dohc they both are non vtec motors. the difference between the d16a6 to the soch zc is that the zc motor has higer compersion due to the pistons. use the teg ecu 7200 redline at the most any more would be a wasted no power past that point. the d16z6 is sohc vtec,d16y8 is vtec. jdm d15 is vtec and the usdm is no vtec
actually (and unfortunately), the pistons are the same. i believe that the differences are in the cams (although still ongoing debate). check this page out to see for yourself what's inside the sohc zc.
