the driver side upper engine mount. i had to take it off to work the tensioner for my timing belt whats the torque for the 3 bolts of the plate on top of the mount itself.

 

i don't torque those just tighten them till you feel safe w/ them. i don't torque trivial items like that. Also why did you take the whole mount off, you just need to take the top part off and leave the piece that bolts to the block alone.

 

thats what i did.

sorry if i explained it wrong. but ya i took the top plate thing off and it took considerable torque to get them off so i figured it was important to torque those down properly so i was wondering if anyone had the ft pounds from a helms

 

the driver side engine mount braket gets bolted to 40 lb-ft
