Default My Rotas Got Owned!!!

Learned my lession, keep your car in gear when your turning! hit/ran up this little curb and the rotas couldnt handle the impact.... (which wasnt very much) and broke. The previous owners of the wheels cracked one of his, so i guess that one was bound to crack on me too. So becareful when you buy used wheels, mine probably had a slight crack on it. My rear wheel got curbed too

a high quality wheel probably would have bent badly and not break off at the spokes like that. this situation is life threatening

Before the Rota flamers swarm in here
He says that a wheel was already cracked and then he hit a curb. Of course a busted wheel will break that bad after another big impact. Be glad they're just inexpensive Rotas instead of $2000 rims that would've been wasted on the street (they might not have broken but most likely would be beyond worthy repair)

would have just bent a forged wheel badly(beyond repair)...

right-o

but i still guarantee that the same rim(spoons) would have done the same thing.

true i did hit that **** hard, but i didnt even feel it, it just felt like i jumped a curb. it was a side impact on the wheel, not head on.

really? how? you figure if it had a crack in it before you started driving on it you would have had the foresight to get a new one before the incident.
