mathematically the correct size is 195/50R15.

Alot of people use 205/50R15. it just makes the tire slightly taller (like 2 mm). but adds 10mm to the tread patch.

so use 205/50R15.

 

I used to have some 15x7 momo's on my car and I had 205/50's as well.

 

being that wide, wont come in conflict with any rubbing though will it?

Depends on how low you are.... Normally it won't rub....

 

I dont remember having any rubbing problems. I would have had some had my car been lower though, but i think thats only cause the rims I had were some funky offset so they wouldnt quite tuck under the fenders if it bottomed out.

 

Im still stock height.

I will drop it 1.5" one day, but not for a while.

 

I have some info from Yokohama and it reads 205/50/15 to 225/50/15 for a 15x7 rim. It also depends on the tire because some have a rounded shoulder while others are more squared off. I run 205's on my 15x7 Slips and my car is pretty low.

I have them on my 15x6.5 wheels and I had to roll the rear fenders a little bit because it was rubbing on bumps.

I went from a 195 to a 205 and it made a huge difference in turn in

If you like grip, I loved my Falken Azenis when I had my car. They were 205/50R15 on a 15x7 wheel.
