i tried searching and came up with nothing.

i just got a type r spoiler for a 96 civic hatchback and i'm not sure where everything goes. does anyone have a diagram or pictures that will help me out? it came with a couple of nuts and bolts and a small roll of foam tape. any help will be appreciated.

shops are quoting $50+ so i would rather do it myself.

what about the foam tape? where does it go? along the edge?

 

the foam tape goes under the wing on the window.

 

You'll need to remove the center plug on the hatch. It hides a third bolt used to hold the spoiler on. I damn near ripped my old one apart trying to find that thing.

so do i put the foam tape on the wing or on the window?

it also came with these T shaped plastic pieces. what do i do with those?

 

you would put the tape down on the bottom of the wing where it hits the window.

 

If you have the real OEM CTR spoiler bolts right on and no probblems, but if you bought a fake CT'er style wing its gonna be a hassel putting it on. Good luck.
