Default Rear Camber question

Ok, I got an alignment today, but my rear camber was off -2.7 degrees, which seems like a crap ton. Now, I havent noticed the rears wearing like the fronts were which had severe toe problems.

What rear camber kits are everyone running? Are the cheaper ones on like ebay really bad? will they break? They seem to be very similar in design to moe expensive ones.

When I had my civic aligned, the rear was off by -3 degrees. They were able to shim it to -1.5 degrees, but need a kit to go further. I now have a SPC camber kit that will go on real soon. I did notice inner tire wear on the rear tires, but I had soft compound tires, and that was after like 15k miles.

I mentioned the washer thing to the guy at the alignment shop, and he said that it works, but i couldnt correct it enough.... So, i'm looking for a cheap camber kit. So far besides the generic ebay ones, the SRR is the cheapest.

I'm running dropzone for the front and rear. Works just fine for the rear, and was really cheap off ebay. The fronts suck though, I think I'm gonna get omni for the front (but thats kinda off topic). One thing 1.5 degrees is pretty good. Most autoxers I talk to run like 1.5-2.5, so if the washers can get you to 1.5, it might just save you some bucks, and give you the treadwear/handling you want.

I used to use washers to correct the rear camber. Now I'm using an Ingall's kit.

Can't you use washers and longer bolts?

i made my own "washers" out of 1/8" aluminum sheet i had laying around and with longer grade 8 bolts from NAPA, my camber in the rear is -.2, works for me!

Washer on my old civic. Also just to let you know, the factory recomended camber for the civic is -1 degree in the back and as close to zero as possible in the front.

im assuming you guys dont track your cars or auto x. if this is true then stock alignment settings are good, if not camber is your friend.
