SO im searching for a pm6 (turbo edit verson 10
) and an eg radator for my crx i stumble upon a 91 lx civic 4 door with the front doors untouched.
To make a long story short i got the powerwindow motors power lock accuator and all the switches/ wiring for 30 bucks, thats alot better than 300 for the jdm one, plus im going to mount the window dpdt switch in the center consol.

Does the civic lx power windows bolt into the crx doors and you just have to do the wiring or how does this work? This sounds interesting

the switch has 4 switches so its pretty much useless and i dont wanna cut my door shell so two switches would work out better, but the only thing i dont wanna lose is the capability to one push and the driver window to go down completely but o well, there has to be some relay to solve this no?

This sounds interesting. Keep us updated. And Take lots of Pics!!!
On a side note, for the hatch owners. Has anyone ever thought of installing power motors for the rear quarter glass? I remember my friends mom had a mid 90's Ford Windstar and it had rear side windows that opened like the ones in the hatch. And they had a motor that popped them open from a switch in the front.
I know it's lazy and the weight ****** will hate the idea but on hot days with no A/C those little windows make a huge difference. And it's a pain to get them open from inside the car(unless you have people in the back) And sometimes I'm too lazy to get my *** out of the car and open the hatch.
Just a thought. Maybe one day i'll give a try

looks like a good writeup on that site. make sure to update us on how it goes!
i personally like the idea of switches in the center console.. less wiring.

EDM LHD switches are too dang expensive, you could use the rear two windows to power somethin else creative, i'd like to try the minivan rear power window thing also, just don't ahve the money to.
Wow, I'm glad someone tried this, now off to the yard to gank a 4 door's junk. I know of one already

idk the switches and handle seem to interchage with the crx handle but the manual overide is in the back top of the door so i guess there will be no overide, and the wiring diagram for the crx sir windows match the civic 4 door perfectly colors and all
