Default Half size civic radiators

I have a turbo h22 in a 94 accord and i was wondering what everyone though of changing to a half civic radiatior. I think it could be done with a a little bit of time and give me much more room in choosing what manifold to use with my turbo set up. I know people run them with there set ups all the time so i dont think cooling would be a issue. Anyone already tried this or have any advice.

stock radiator takes up soo little room to begin with (its like 3/4 of an inch deep), so i dont see how that could help youu...all the piping will have to be moved and made longer (?), which could limit your room even more than an accord radiator....

are u going for a log or cast mani?????....even though the wastegate bungs on the cast are often poorly placed, i dont think i would ever trust the welds on a log.....

I'd be a little bit worried about running a h22 off of a civic rad, but if people are doing it, then I guess it's ok. I would definately use an aftermarket rad, like a fluidyne, instead of an OEM though.

BINGO.... especially with a turbo, and even more with a turbo with an oversized manifold

I agree 100%...honda is somewhat notorious for their radiators breaking, fluidyne

Not only will it provide better cooling for the application but will cost about the same and probably last twice as long
