i bought a VIS hood. it has the VIS badge, but theres just something about it that doesnt feel right. what other ways can i tell if its real vis. i got it straight from vis but i dont know

if u got it from vis, it should be authentic vis. tom should drop in here soon enough, he did an extensive comparison on vis hoods.

Yeah VIS has black edges on all of their hoods. VIS is notorious for sending out other bull **** if they don't have what you need.

 

some are rolled, some are black. All are "heavy" from what I have seen.

 

I guess he's noid since bknw was selling their special hoods and shipping vis **** to people and expected nobody to know the difference.

the ppl working there sucks, abunch of cocky bastards

altho' their hood fits pretty good

 

main thing if its new it will be wrapped in VIS Plastic that says vis all over it.
