Need Some Help
I have a '94 GS-R with 122,XXX miles on it. Recently i have been having some problems with transmisions and bad idling. I replaced my stock GS-R tranny with a Type-R but it only has 3,XXX miles on it and it is grinding into third...probable cause may be the motor mount by the firewall b/c everything else checks out ok. Well i plan on pulling the motor to get the tranny worked on and i decided to build it up...i want to make the motor all it can be while still making it an everyday driver. I was told to do Skunk 2 Stage 2 cams, AEBS Intake Manifold, Header of some kind, Skunk 2 springs and retainers, and a VAFC for tuning. I currently has a 7lb flywheel, ACT clutch, Apexi WS exhaust (cat back), AEM CAI, and the Venom 400. What is the best way to go when having the motor out? I need help deciding what to buy and what all needs to be upgraded when doing so.
