Default Civic #2 is almost done (56k beware lots of pics)

Alright folks, Civic #2 is almost done. This is my BF civic. I put some pics up back in the day when he first got it, but just in case you all don't remember I am gonna post them again for you. He has an '88 hatch STD. It has been transformed.

Day one:

the better side, but lots of stickers, :grinno:

The heart :lol2: If you can please note the pliers holding the clutch cable

The damaged side, but we still saw potential

Then we painted the vinyl seats just for fun

I think you all got the picture soooooo, On to the new pics:

The new heart is now in

The new interior, went from vinyl to fresh Si interior.

Thats it for now. There is still some work to be done but for the most part I think it has come a long way. We couldn't get the side skirts to fit and neither could the body shop so that will be left alone for now. It is headed to the paint shop on Saturday, so more pics will be up maybe Monday. Then the weekend after the paint, the audio/video stuff will go in. So look out for those pics too.

Is that an hf exhaust manifold on the zc? That could be a bottleneck in the exhaust...unless you plan to put a turbo on it

it is an '88 std exhaust manifold. He will be getting rid of that VERY soon. Any suggestions on a good exhaust set up for the ZC??

I know that the color will be red but he is trying to keep it a secret from me. He has bought the paint but won't let me see it. I will see myself for the first time on Sunday when we pick it up.

it is a direct swap, with minor modifications. I got mines from a local Japenese distributor. If you have a Si theres no wiring needed but if you have a DX/Std then you have to do a little bit of rewiring.
