Car wont turn over
Hello!! Just got my first honda recently (CRX).
The car has been working fine since I got it.
Recently, the car has been acting up. The problem is that when I turn the ignition switch, everything powers up. But when I go to start, all I hear is the fuel pump.
I have already taken out the starter and got it tested at 3 different shops, it passed ok on all test.
So I came to the conclusion that the power wire going to the starter(female connector) wasn't possibly making a good connection. So I put everything back tightly, and the car started.
However, a week later, the same thing happened. But moving the power wire on the starter around didn't do anything.
I've checked all my grounds, and everthing visually seems ok.
On the ignition switch, there is one set of wires that goes to the fuse box. So I unplugged it, and for the hell of it, tried to start the car. Nothing happened, there was no power. So I plugged it back in then tried to start.
It Started!!!
Does any one know what the problem might be? Can you give me any suggestions as what else I can look for? My ECU isn't throwing any codes, so I'm pretty much at a loss here.
Oh, its an 89 si 1.6 d16a6 with an pm6 ecu.
Thank you!
