Default one wheel peel

Being that my car has only one wheel peel, I do belive I need a new LSD. If I'm correct in assuming this, how much of a job is it to do? Since it is attached to the tranny do I have to drop it all or what? If you have any knowlage in this area please help.

Tranny needs to be taken out, and taken apart to remove the differential. Basically you have to take all the steps of installing a clutch. Except the end job will be on the tranny.

I say anywhere from $400-$800 just for labor. If you are mechanicaly inclined, i suggest removing the tranny your self and taking it to a shop for the LSD installation, then re-installing the tranny your self. Will save you 3/4 of the labor cost.

Damn it may be time to look into a whole new tranny with LSD for me. I dont want to put that much money in mine cause it leaks due to one of the main case bolts got ripped off of it when it was lower. Either way it is gonna be alot of work and money. Maybe I dont need that much traction anyway.
