please read: mugen chipped ecu with rc310's during break in
as the title states this what i have on my b18c that i have just recently rebuilt, i just reached 700 miles and have yet to bring it over 4500K and it is starting to smoke, as if one of the oil rings is cracked. I am just wondering if it is typical at this stage of the break in, or if my cylinder walls got washed due to overly rich mixture
please give me any insight, thanks in advance.

they could very well be the problem. i had RC310's and a PYR chip and i ran it for a while befie it smoked my rings. lots of blue smoke and oil consumption.
air/fuel ratio was below 10:1 when i had it tested at the time.
i suggest you have it dyno tuned. or get rid of the injecotrs until you can get it tuned.

The Mugen is a super rich program, and then upping the injectors by over 25% from stock will lead to way too much fuel.
Unless you are running ITBs, I'd stick to the stock injectors and a leaner program.

thanks guys... well my options now are to put on the stock injectors, and run it with the chipped ecu, unless i can find a fairly priced jdm b18c ecu that is a virgin... by getting rid of the injectors is it possible to save the engine or is it going to need new rings etc...

Ok, how about this. When breaking in an engine, you want to run as close to stoich as possible so you don't have undo carbon buildup preventing the rings from seating.
310s + mugen chip == no surprise your new build is fucked.
