b16a help on 88 Si
ok my friend bought an 88 civic hatch with a b16a in...at the time it had a vafc and vtec wasnt kicking in. it was also throwing a code 6 and had normal idle.
i figured out the settings on the vafc and now it has vtec still throwing a code 6 and now a code 23 and has a 2000 idle. i only fucked with vtec engagement point and thats it.
now whats weird is that the code 23 (knock) only came on after vtec was engaged, but the actually sensor clip has been chilling in the bay unplugged since i first saw the car.
also since its a AT b16a would it have a space for the knock sensor...we couldnt find one next to the oil pressure switch...
