i agree,
I forget who it was exactly,
but someone had a red eg, and he custom rigged a duct sort of like that,
except it fit perfectly in one of the bumpers side grilles,
and he had it paintmatched to his car.
looked VERY nice and clean, and it ran some nice cold air up to his intake.
which is a very good setup in my opinion, because you get the cold air of a CAI setup,
but you retain the highrpm and puttle prevention of a shortram.

Anyway, I sort of like that duct, it's ugly as ****, but it provides a pretty smooth track for air to enter that area, as opposed to retro-fitting a plate with a hole in it like someone did earlier.
cool for a track car, but a daily driver? no.

there's a guy i know in town that has one that goes in the place of the passenger headlight (strictly for track days)...i forget who makes it or what it's called, also very functional if you don't want it fro everyday driving, which is what i would chose.

eh, I don't see how they are "JDM bling". They are functional. If they were made out of solid steel, would that make it less of a "JDM Bling factor" to you guys? Just because it's carbon fiber doesn't mean it's JDM
Hell, if they weren't too expensive, I would rock one

Can't use a filter with that, though. It's a Iceman product, or a copy, since I think they're out of business.
