Default race kar for sale built 94 hatch great for SM or H1

Well it has finally come time to put the car up for sale, I am going to be sad to see it go but I am looking to free up some funds for a fun daily driver.

The car is a 94 civic dx hatchback. Right know the car weighs in at about 2040, with a light weight battery, hood, and seats it could be in the upper 1900's. here is a list of what is done to the car

There is a ton of other stuff that I am probabally forgetting, i put the prices next to most of the stuff just to give you and idea of what I have spent on her the last 2 years. Once I added it up there is about $14,000 invested in part's. that is not including any of the sets of wheels that come with it, the hundereds of hours of labor that went into building it, or the car itself or the 1year old paint on it. All of the work was done in our shop by me or by my boss and yes we are both ASE certified. This car does very well in SM here on the east coast of Fl. with the propper safety equipment I think that it could do well in the honda challange series.

Car comes with 3 sets of wheels 234x45x13 v700's on the lenso's pictured, an almost used set of AE032r's and a set of azenis all mounted on rims. Plus the car comes just about all the misc extra stuff that I took out that you might want.

Wow! Didn't realize that you had so much stuff on the car... very, very nice. I'm sure you'll find a good home for your hatch

Christian, who suddenly feels like his hatchcrap is way underprepared for SM...

PS
Are you still going to be autoXing?

not yet....not for awhile. I won't build it until I've got the money to do it right. If "done right" IMO, the *CAR* will be easily good enough to get a jacket. Then I have to drive it....eek

I will be joining you guys in AX competition soon, I am currently finishing up on my EG hatch now. See below for mods so far. And thats a nice hatch, I do believe I've seen it around. I started roadracing and autoX'ing several years ago, but over the last year or so I've only been able to do a few using some of my crazy friend's TypeR's. Check ya'll later, Clay.

Right now its got most its interior except the rear seats/panels, etc so I still can take out all the rest except two front seats and dash. But obviously no AC, PS and other excessories. So just the added weight of the B18C1 and suspension and brake mods, but minus the rest of the interior that I can get out of it, I figure it will weigh somewhere right around 2000lbs even when its all said and done. But then I will add a full weld-in cage later so the weight will be up significantly.

And I bought two sets of the lightweight Speedmaster wheels, one for street and one for track. They are 15X6.5 and approx 11 lbs each, not bad for not being forged, just the lightest/strongest/cheapest(and best looking IMO) UN-forged wheels you can buy practically. I have 205/50 Azenis on one set, not sure what other tire I'll get for the other set. Although the EG is currently ridin on stock GSR blades with 205/50/15 Dunlop SP Sport 8000's, these are from my wrecked Integra GSR

I had the opportunity to drive the car late last year - definitely a well built car. Good luck Matt!

Keep the interior in so you can run Street Mod.

15 x 6.5? well that's not going to do you any good.

Find some 15 x 8s and get some real rubber on that car.

Thanks, in the futuer I will end up getting some wider wheels, but for now this will do, atleast its better than the 15x6 factory wheels. And I might end up running SM and keeping the interior. This car is primarily being set-up for some weekend club-sport road racing so that the focus. Thanks for the advice though, later.

with all this talk with how good a driver jesse is maybe we could talk him into buying a SM hatch then maybe he could give rodneys hatch a run for his money. If I only knew someone who had one for sale.
