Anyone have a gunmetal metallic paintjob using a single stage urethane paint? I got an estimate to paint my car Anthracite Metallic Clearcoat (off the RSX) and with a multi stage paintjob its $2000+. So i asked him what else could be done and he said I could go with a single stage Urethane paint, which is $1000 less.

Anyways, my question is, will it still turn out nice? Will the metallic look weird or dull or anything? Multi stage paintjob is OUT OF THE QUESTION, my budget cant handle $2000 . Should I just go with a different color that doesnt have any metallic in it?

Anyone with single stage urethane gunmetal metallic paintjobs (or any type of metalling paintjob) have pics of it?

Black single stage. My friend got a black single stage from the place i went to and it looked really nice for a little less than what mine was estimated at. (Since his car was already black, they just painted the outside, and he didnt get any holes filled.)
