Default Who has installed the Hondata Intake gasket ?

OK guys, I'm thinking about getting the Hondata Intake gasket:

http://www.hondata.com/heatshield.html

I have located a dealer in Europe who currently has the gasket for the B16A in stock, and I was wondering if anyone of you has it in his car, and what is his impression/opinion about it ? I know that it actually does work, and lowers the intake temps quite a bit, but what do you think ?

I think that this is probably one of the best bang-for-buck mods out there for ANY car......

So, out of the tenths of thousands of members with Hondas in here, just one person has installed this gasket ?

Doesn't bode very well for me.....

However, in theory I think that for 50 bucks, it's one of the best mods you can do to a Honda....

I used it when I put an AEBS Manifold on my b16. I found that after driving for a while the intake was cooler. However if your in stop and go traffic the manifold will be heat soaked unless you have a vented hood. At the track if you stop and open your hood after each run you can keep your intake temps down, which was a great deal for my turbo setup. Most people use them when then change intake manifolds but pulling your manifold off just to put one on is not really worth it.

you took all the coolant lines off the intake as well right? otherwise you're not doing anything different.
