Default $500 CRX?

My friend(my Honda guru friend, that is) told me he could hook me up through a friend of for his CRX Si for $500. I don't know the millage yet, and I know its auto. He told me he'd help me convert it to manual, hes done it before and I trust him. Now it has some body damage, but none that isn't easily fixable. So can I get any info on this car model? Its 1990. Thanks lots.

We should start a whole "My $500 CRX" post because it seems like there is a new one here everyday.
But yes, as stated earlier, there are endless possibilities for that chassis.

Sorry for lack of replies by me, I was at work. Well I don't know if it is an Si model, I was just told that. I'll do some more research then. I would like to know what engine came in the Si model and weight. I have a good CRX mod site down right now.

if it's AUTO it's not an Si, like stated before.

the only auto CRX's were DX's. if you plan on racing this or moding it then i would just look for another CRX, it won't be worth your time.
