I have a chance to buy a black LS DC2 in mint condition for a very cheap price. THe only problem I have is the interior color, its so ugly (IMO). I want to know if anyone of your guys that feel the same way I do what you have done about this.

I was considering removing all tan pieces and repainting them with duplicolor Interior paint, and replacing to black carpet. I also plan on removing the Dashboard and replacing it with a black one, but I don't know what I would do to swap the VIN on the dash from the original.

In any case whoever reads this can contribute with a writeup or pictures.

If you feel like going through the hassle of swapping everything then go for it. If the price isn't amazing I wouldn't bother. You can probably find carpeting and dash at a junkyard with no problem (my integra is at C&J Towing in Newark, which still has carpet and dash in black)

... yeah, I considered that but the price is nice the only deciding factor is the int.

I have it, and don't like it. But, I can find better things to spend my money on.

for some reason also i love the nasty blue interior in hatch's...

black seats/steering wheels give it a nice contrast..

 

Get some tan rsx leather seats to match the tan interior...(too much of a hassle to do black conversion).

 

I have the tan too....I def dont like it, but will deal with it

Ok, back to topic. My friend just picked up a black RS just yesterday with tan interior. At first he didnt like it, then he got used to it. IMHO, I think that a Black 'Teg w/ Tan interior will look good with bronze rims. I'd keep the interior if I were you, I just don't think it's worth all the money to swap out the interior.

 

You will get used to it, black with tan like already said, isn't THAT bad. I was iffy about having a red car when I had my GSR but it grew on me and I loved it.

Don't feel bad. I hated tan in my car, so I took every single part of the interior out of the car. Its just that Honda's tan interior just seems so cheaply done to me

But i have a Green GSr and as u all know..Green comes with Puke *** TAN...
and Cloth at that...Well i dont have a single piece fo Tan left now
