Default Mix and match for plug & play wire harness?

I was thinking, I have all these various OBD0, DPFI, MPFI, OBD1, and VTEC harnesses and connectors laying around and I need to finish my B17 harness, sometime this century.
Basically, I have tons of stock Honda wires of different colors and connector pins

Can I just add the wires and neccasary sensor connectors I need, as per the helms, and just make it plug and play? I want to keep soldering to a bare minimum.
Has anyone ever done this?
Are the plug wire pins interchangeable? (I'm gonna disect some to make sure)
And did it work without any CELs?

so your just using the pins and plugs from various different harnesses?
as long as there OBD0 then yes they will all work still.

If you need a harness then I probably have it so check out my link if you interested

Thanx, that's what I thought.
No, don't need anymore harnesses, I got too many as it is. My closet is full of honda wire harnesses.
I need someone to put them all together for me. haha
What I do need though, is a VTEC solenoid connector with a few inches of green w/ yellow wire with the pins still attached. If you have it.

unless you have to use the green plug to identify it as a sensor you could use any of the other obd-0 or obd-1 2 pin plugs. I have a few if you need a non green one

So you want to color match everything I take it? Honestly dude I would just make the 4 wires stand out like.....Green, Red, Yellow, blue

That' what I used on my VTEC, Knock sensor, VTEC Oil pressure, 2nd 02

Yeah, actually that was sorta the point of this thread. To color/match the wires according to the helms with the right style connectors without soldering. So it looks as if it's stock and is just as reliable as stock, wiring wise, I mean. ( with no soldering.) And the helms schematics will still make sense if something breaks.
Yes I know I'm making this swap 10 times harder than it has to be, but when it comes to my cars I'm an **** retentive f**ckhead. (See my sig?
That's a true statement. LOL
And I'm going to go OBD1, just to complicate things a bit more.
I don't think I need ANY more connectors except the VTEC solenoid. ( and that's only because the kid I bought one of the harnesses from, swore to me it was uncut, and he lied. Still can't seem to find a VTEC sol clip.
Anybody got one with the grn/yel wire attached? PM me.

most if not all of the pins are interchangeable between obd's
i used a mix of obd0 and 0bd1 connectors for a while
