i always wanted to try out the import world and well i guess its gonna happen sooner or later. well a friend at work is selling a crx 5speed for $500. good condition too. so i was wondering what swaps can i do?

 

you can swap whatever you want in there if you have enough time and/or money!

most popular swaps include:

d-series (newer civics) easy, can reuse trans and axles, shift linkage, etc.
b-series (integras, some civics) - need mounts, tranny, axles, shift linkage, etc, but all bolts in pretty much
h-series (prelude) - tight squeeze. not very popular yet since i dont know of any available mount kits for that.
k-series (2001+ honda/acura) - a few people have done this but its very custom.

get familiar with the search function on this site. most people will yell at you to do that if you post a lot of topics like this. I'm just trying to help you out and get you on your way since you're new. i probably searched for a year on this site before i ever posted.

 

i was thinking of doing a b16a2 or a b18 swap. how much hp/tq do those have stock?

i remember racing a crx in my mustang. this dude said he had a d series swap and the interior was striped. he only had exhuast/cai. since my mustang has only exhaust (and runs 14.47's). by the end of my second gear he was a car length behind me. i said damn. i still think he had more done to it than i new about. but owell.
