Default colored/ edited a old photo , what do you think..

I did this for my family. The lady on the left is my grandmother, I never got to meet her, she died of cancer when my dad was just 18yrs old. The man on the right is my grandfather, who just passed away 2 days ago. His funeral is soon and this will be at it. What do you think of my work?

Original image i started with..

and here is my work..

Woah...did you do something to your grandmother's eyes? The first pic she's looking right at the camera, but in the second pic, she's looking up. Kinda creepy.

More importantly, what does your dad think?

Hope you can blow it up pretty big and retain quality, it's gonna be something you're gonna get a helluva lot of hugs for...

Sorry for the loss, and that's some very quality work.

I just took a nap and woke up. My uncle came in my room and said. ."I emailed the image to your dad, he liked it so much, he printed it out and brought it to the sinagaoge and put it in his casket, and printed out another one to get framed and placed on his casket for the funeral. It looks like I actually used my skills for something good.

About the eyes thing, since the original was black and white, you couldnt really see the glare in her eyes. When i edited it, you can see the little dots on her eyes and makes her look different.
