First thing i wake up in the morning and am like man i have not been on H-T in a while let me see whats new. See the post about my friend Thomas passing away and it just brought tears to my eyes. I then had to go to work and work didnt go too well. I come home and am waiting for my gf to come home from work at 10:30 and at around 11:00 my alarm just goes off then hear some raspy exhaust speeding away. Im like oh ****. I get outside and find a flashlight and a flathead screwdriver next to my car. I then inspect my car and find out that they got my hood open and it triggered my alarm and they took off. F*cking ******** need to go buy their own ****. Im kinda pissed right now I knew it was only a matter of time before it happened. I really dont know how they got it unlocked but my hood latch cable is pulled down from the radiator support. gotta fix that soon and hopefully find a way to reroute it. I got a nice led flashlight now though HAHA!


Oh well a car is a car. More importantly I pray for Thomas and his family. I hope they are doing well. I am going to miss him he was truely a wonderful friend. RIP my friend.

Just had to vent a bit.

that sucks bro i know how it feels to have a frined pass away.. one of my frineds woke up and his car was broken into... they trashed everything and pulled the hood latch cable was pulled under the fender and ****.. hope u get by man

Sorry to hear bro,..but Wheres the best way to route the Hood latch so even if they know its there,they can't reach it?Obviously through the inside of the engine.

But where it mounts to the latch...how do you hide it?

 

I would get the flashlight and the screwdriver finger printed
