Finally... RIDING AGAIN!!!!
My 954RR got stolen almost a year ago and I haven't had a bike since then....but now I'm back :D
After my 954 was stolen I moved and sold all my gear. I thought I wasn't going to ride again for a long time...well things worked out my way and almost after a year I am riding again!
Let me just say that this is the smoothest bike I have ever ridden. It does everything I want it to do with no fuss or bullshit. The power delivery is excellent, and it has much more pickup than my 954RR in every aspect. The top end just does not stop coming....I love it. The steering damper isn't even noticeable when you are riding, but I know it plays a major part in the bikes stability when you're leaned over hanging that turn. The trunk is a joke, but if you're gonna nitpick about that then you should go buy a Goldwing and get out of my face.
I'm going to get a Magical Racing Windscreen, Devil Slip on pipe..my 600RR black cowl is ordered.. once I get my hands on a heatgun all the stickers are coming off....and that'll probably be it for modding my bike for a while. It's already the perfect package.
here's a short video clip :

Its a 1k bro
And NICE! My buddy's brother got one last week, and that bike makes every 600 i've ever ridden just seem absurdly slow. I love how at like half throttle the damn bike lifts up. Keeps ridin fun, gotta pay attention
Shiny side up

Yeah it's a 1000
I might have confused him when I said 600RR Cowl... the 600RR cowl fits on the 1000RR and it looks much better than the 1K cowl IMO..
thanks
300 miles on her after her first day!

usually true... but I did buy a smaller bike (600RR) for my second bike. I just like feeling that I'm riding more of the bike rather than the bike riding me (like w/ liter bikes). But there's nothing like having almost a liter right under your nuts and ready to go when you need it for passing, and that's why I can't get rid of my 954.
