i have searched and even talked to people but i still keep getting different answers from people. first someone says i need to do the whole mpfi swap, but another said i only need the wiring harness for it. also one said i will need a new tranny and ecu from the zc motor and another said my stock ones are fine. can someone please clear this up for me or email me at dirtyylicous@aol.com or im me dirtyylicous. thanks alot

 

nope nobody has ever done it in the dx only the si and hf models LOL

dohc zcs cannot be swapped into a crx.

my car is a 91 dx, i already swapped a zc into it, you need to covert your wiring to mpfi, get the ecu (pm6=si) or if you swap in a ls, get the ls ecu with it, you can swap another d-series in without mounts but a b-series will require it along with a shift linkage and a few other things.

why would you want to do that? they come with dohc's, people always swap them out for sohc's

 

you can use your stock tranny (although it's not the most performance oriented gearing). you will have to do a MPFI wiring swap. + ZC wiring changes (move a few wires). use a 88-89 teg pg7 ecu or a 88-91 pm6.
