welding gas bottle ?

I have a O2 bottle that I recently found in my house. Is it possible to change the fittings and fill it with argon for TIG welding.

BOOM!!!!

o2 leaves residue of it's chemical compound. if mixed with argon it could be dangerous or deadly.

I know argon does not bond with anything and it not flammable and it a Noble gas. oh well it was worth a try

you can probably take it to your welding supply house and exchange it for a argon tank.

I know people that have done that, I used a rc cola co2 tank had it re certified and new valve put on works great

I know CO2 can be converted but I dont know about O2

talked to friend at certification shop for tanks,he said no problem wont hurt anything
