Have you tried to pull the manifold forward towards the front of the car and start the bolt.

If that does not work you might have to go to Napa and get the bolts 8x1.25 red, and shave the down. I had to do that on my sidewinder manifold when I had it. I'll get pics of the nut if I can find it if you want.

That wont work if the bolt doesnt. If the head of the bolt wont turn a nut will not.

But seriously. I would call lovefab and talk to them. They might have just fucked up this one manifold. Or maybe there is an easy fix for this. Im sure they would help you out. It would be the curteous thing to do.

And if your daring enough you could notch the manifold on the bolt hole. And on the stud you might try a nut that doesnt have the flare on the end. Good luck on your setup and have fun.

First, I would tell you to shave down the outer part(flare) of that nut to see if it will lower down and fit on the stud. However, from the pics it still looks like it will not fit on there unless you shave down the runner a little. I don't think you want to do that. I guess you can go ahead and shave down the outer part of that nut and see if that works. If it doesn't, I would just go ahead and call him up and tell him to send you another manifold ASAP. Tell him to try it out first on one of his spare heads to see if will fit before he ships it out. He should do that before he sends these things out. If not, this kind of stuff happens and people lose time.

That is what i did with my greddy manifold . I used a stud and regular nut and it worked . Good Luck

Just to compare sizes left stock bolt and nut and on the right ,stud ,nut and split washer that i got form my local hardware store.
