hf wiring harness in si
im swaping a gsr in a 89 crx si im using an hf wiring harness. when i try to start the car the main relay clicks rapidly. checked all grounds. already re pinned the wires on the driver side by the resistor box was wondering if there are any other steps to take.
k idk why everyone decides to put another wiring harness in there car, why not just keep it stock.
put it back to the stock si harness, alwyas modify the stock harness

it makes no sense for for you to reply if you have nothing helpful to add. fyi i bought the car as a shell got the hf harness for 20 bucks uncut. if need be i will purchase an si harness but i would rather work with waht i already have
i did tell you seomthign helpful, keep it stock si. the problem was you didnt describe it good enough. for example you say you bought the shell, did it come with the si harness or you just swtich the harness because you got it for $20. you gotta fully explain the situation. if it didnt coem with an si harness at all and you got the complete hf harness then thats the only thin you can use unless you wanna go buy a complete si harness
HF and Si engine wiring harnesses are not interchangeable - all of the wires (except for one) are in different locations in the connector to the chassis harness at the firewall - use the Si harness
yeah double check your wiring harness pins you did. Im pretty sure that 88-89 and 90-91 si harness are different so you need to make sure you got the right year. And I think 88-89 hf and 90-91 hf are different as well. I know there is link somewhere i'll try to find it for you
