Default Tuning question

Ok i'm looking to run a hondata so I emailed a nearby hondata dealer about buying a unit and getting it tuned. So they told me one tune per chip so if I tune it at 10psi that is the only tune it will hold. My question is will a car tuned at 10psi run fine at 7psi for a daily setup? Also considering running 12psi...it is a small turbo (15G) but I dunno how well the sohc will hold it.

You can tune any boost level between 0-30psi on one chip. They should be able to tune for the separate boost columns and let the program interpolate between those columns. For example, the Hondata boost columns are 4, 7, 11, 18, 24, and 28 psi. You can tune the 7psi and 11psi column and let the software program average the values to achieve your 10psi level. When I do my tuning, I set up one map for both pump and race gas, so only one chip is necessary.

Hmm I will have to mention this to the tuners. Maybe they just didn't understand my question.
