I know you guys have seen the "know your roots" stickers for civics and tegs well the accord guys need some love too . I need about 10 people to go in on this so they can get ordered, cost is from 3-4 dollars per sticker.

Please let me know if you guys want to get in on these, I for one think they are pretty cool (a close second to the h-t stickers ) .

personally, id never heard of these "know your roots"...mainly cause i usually only go to the accord, gdd, and sponsor...

it be even BETTER if it was a good pic of a 1st gen accord hatchback..i think that came out in 1977, or 1 year after the first year of sales (the sedan??/coupe??/regular version came out in 76 i believe).....something about those old school accord hatches gets me......

wait!!!...what if we got a bozoku (sp??) 1st gen accord w/ the oil cooler chillin on the front grill and huge fender flares w/ slicks!!...that b m44d t1gHt Jdm y00

OT: (as if this post/thread isnt already OT enough), my AGX + sportlines came in a 2:17pm ES....one of the front AGXs came in a GR2 box + w/o the 2 required washer/nuts.......but i can probably pick those up at HD

 

so any progress yet?

They are both 1st gen accords, the 2nd is a hatch . The sticker will look very very close to the civic one minus the writing up top and say KNow your roots on the bottom. I am talking to the guy and talking about a design behind the car (like in the civic) to make it clean. If anyone wants to photoshop a design behind the accord feel free and possibly accord somewhere in the sticker (I am up for ideas too) . Looks like its a go already, 13 people in just need a final design .

 

any way of squeezing them both in---or would that be to busy for a sticker etc? any thoughts from anyone?

ok right now I have more than enough people....I just need help to get the "finished" product.

I would like to see the accord and a cool design background (like the civic) and the words accord in the photo (because frankly it doesn't look like an accord. Then the know your roots writing.

I can get these ordered...just need a little help with the finishing

Who ever submits a final with PS etc and its accepted I will buy your sticker

As far as previews, I can't get just 1 made...I just know that no one has these and they are way cool, I guarantee they will look good

 

we need to go to appearance/cosmetic for this and hand it over to the photoshoppers...they can prolly make it look pretty bad

 

That red 1st gen sedan would look nice with this background...



...maybe change the red color to a darker one that sorta matches the sedan's color. PS'ers surprise us.

And then the "know your roots" on the bottom. Just an idea that popped into my head. Also Id like to request this sticker made in a big and small size.
