Anyone done a CRX front end conversion (fenders/bumper) on a Civic?
Did my archives search on this topic and this was all that I found so I'm bringing the thread back to life in hopes of an answer with some direction on what to do.

yea dats ossible but is a gen2 teg (90) front end go onto a ef(89) or does there need to be some cuttin n molding....any one have any pix or anyting...thinking bout doin this
hey *******, someone bumped this thread, i already did it.
you need from the CRX:
bumper mounts, bumper, fender mounts, bumper cover, fenders, corner lights, bumper lights
it all bolts on, the civic side moulding clips to where the crx moulding goes (CRX moulding isabout 1/2" shorter).
lower trim looks funny cause the civic doesn't have the lower plastic like the CRX does, but a set of aftermarket side skirts would cover it.

Funny you guys mention the teg to a rex front end. I just bought a 90' rex last night and the dude before me started the conversion. It fits like a charm. Although i haven't looked closely at how it was done since the car was towed to my house pretty late.
But i'll get pics up as soon as i can so you guys can take a look. I'll admit though, it looks and fits just right. It doesn't look outta place at all. Planning to thro some one peice's on there as soon as we finish it.

Soon. I promise. It was a tripp cause when i went to look at the car, it took me a while to notice that something didn't look right. It wasn't until the car was being loaded that i noticed it had a DA front end. That's how "close to stock" it looks.
i have long time ago..not that much of a different in some people eye of view but if a person that really know the CRX/CIVIC, they can.
basically get the front bumper; reinforcement bar; fenders (L/R); bottom trim piece on crx fender; corner lens; bumper lens.
you can still retain your stock hood and headlight. and wiring are the same, but you might need to add in or not be using one of the signal bulb.
hope that help....

paimport you said theres one in allentown? i have neva seen it i think that that would look so sick im just wondering if i am gonna have to like cut and weld the fenders things like that
Rukus, still haven't found a digital camera to take pics. Soon...
The guy i bought my rex from aparently used the stock fenders. Stock meaning, for a CRX application, but infact they're z3 fenders. Which i am ditching !!. Anyhow, he molded a peice of fender from an integra so that the turn signal fits properly. There is no visble "bulge" because of this. Which is good. Some body work and it will look clean.
As for the bumpers, its the stock bumper, but it is modified a bit to fit the longer light scheme.
The hood does need to be moded aswell. Probably welding a small piece of sheet metal around the lights. So it'll wrapp around the top portion of the integra lights.
MAN I WISH I HAD A FREAKIN CAMERA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANYONE IS DALLAS WANNA COME BY AND TAKE PICS????

yeh that car was hot i dont know who it was. but it was at the lehigh valley mall during the day a couple weeks ago. just parked sitting in the sun by modells entrance.
everything should bolt up. but the headlights i'm not sure if the housing and headlights will fit at the radiator support. so you would have to mod your support or swap in the DA support most likely. that would be all.

need the fender front mount points (bolts to headlight bracket)
and the bumper mounts (bumper bolts to mounts, mount bolts to chassis).
