Covered up to 7yrs/70k miles:

- Crankshaft and/or cylinder and/or TDC position sensors
- Distributor housing
- Fuel rail
- Fuel tank
- Injectors *V6 only*
- Air/fuel ratio sensors
- Accelerator pedal position sensor
- Air pump
- Idle air control vavle (IACV)
- Throttle body
- Intake manifold

Covered up to 8 yrs/80k miles:

- Engine control module
- Transmission control module
- Powertrain control module
- Three-way catalytic converter

Life of the vehicle:

- Seatbelts

 

do you have a list of what is changed if u get the extended warranty?

 

just call whoever you buy it from, its usually cheaper from other than acura.. all it is is insurance.. it don't have to be from acura.

 

Those seem like items related to OBD/Emissions and DOT safety.

 

thats exactly what they are.. emmisions related items.

 

The coverage of items listed for 7 years or 70K miles is part of the California Emissions Warranties. According to the 2001 warranty booklet, that additional coverage applies only to vehicles registered in California, Massachusetts, or Vermont; elsewhere, the normal 4/50 coverage applies.

The coverage for items marked for 8/80 is part of the Federal Emissions Warranties and applies nationwide.
