i'm have some trouble gettin a loan for my type r. ($20,500) i have no credit (not bad credit) and i have a co-signer but she doesn't have legal form of income... does anyone know of a good bank with decent rates in the new jersey area that'll help me out and make my type r experience come true?

 

I hate to be negative bud, but GOOD F'IN LUCK!!! I work at a bank so I know how they are. My advice to you in the meantime, is get some kind of a credit card, you don't even necessarily have to put a balance on it (it helps, but you don't have to). You see, the issue is that nobody wants to be the first person to give you money, once somebody does, it'll help a lot. It may not get you your loan right off the bat, but try it. Another thing, even with that, you're probably gonna get a crap rate, so my advice is to get the loan with whatever rate they'll give you and pay it for a year or so, then refinance and once they see that you can do it, they'll be willing to give you a much better rate.
